<p>While it&#8217;s cool to watch because, well, it&#8217;s a base jumping video&#8230; and when is that not cool? It&#8217;s not as exciting as it could be. Quite obviously a sanctioned publicity jump by Red Bull with Whistler Blackcomb&#8217;s full permission. Is it going to go &#8216;viral&#8217;? Well, I&#8217;m writing about it. Will it be a &#8220;social media success&#8221;? Doubtful. Because it&#8217;s not authentic. No one else could repeat it.</p>
<p>What would have been cooler, though, would be to see someone manage to do it on the sly. Like this:</p>

<p>And while the Marc Ecko Air Force One tagging event is a fake&#8230; it received at least a million views and has been reposted and reposted to YouTube too many times to find all the versions out there.</p>
